“I messaged Stacy and told her I was ready to take my life back and I was hoping that she would be willing to take on a project”
I met Stacy a little over 20 years ago while we were working in the trades. She just got into the plumbing trade and I immediately was fascinated by her determination to overcome the obstacles and stereotypes of a male dominated profession. I saw her deal with the negativity and hurdles put in front of her with grace. In other words, instead of complaining about it, she thrived in spite of it all. Not only did she beat the odds and prove them all wrong when she earned her journeyman card she took it even further by becoming a foreman running work but also moved up by becoming an estimator and project manager.
By the way, did I mention all while being a rockstar single mother, and if that wasn’t enough a roller derby queen as well? I’m not sure how it all evolved but logic tells me that between her career and roller derby, physical fitness became a hobby that turned into a passion. Thanks to social media, I got to watch this transformation from my iPhone. Lol. I got to watch this hobby turn into a passion and finally evolve into her life’s mission and a successful career!
Now, onto myself… I’ve struggled with my weight most of my adult life mostly due to bad life choices. (Substance abuse and a reckless lifestyle) A couple years ago, I finally woke up and got my life together, and got sober. However, I was plagued with depression and turned to food and a sedentary lifestyle which made my weight struggles become completely out of control.
A little over a year ago I closed my business and found a job that I absolutely love but my weight made things very difficult physically. Not only that but I felt uncomfortable dealing with the public because I felt that my weight made my customers uncomfortable. So, on Christmas Day of 2022 I messaged Stacy and told her I was ready to take my life back and I was hoping that she would be willing to take on a “project”. To my surprise, she said, YES!!!!!
On January 2 I started showing up at 6 am 3 days a week. To say I was nervous would be the understatement of the century. My mobility and stamina were not good due to my weight. I couldn’t even stand still for more than 5 minutes without breaking into a sweat. I was already struggling to do my job and being sore from training was something that I couldn’t afford to deal with and as I stated earlier, I watched her train on social media for years so I had a good idea what I was in for.
However, to my surprise, I’ve never been sore. As a matter of fact I feel better physically and as a bonus mentally than I have in I don’t remember how long! Don’t get me wrong, I struggled at first! As a matter of fact I couldn’t go 5 minutes without having to sit down and catch my breath. Within the first month I was getting through my workouts with minimal breaks and by my 3rd month not only was I getting through without breaks but can carry on a conversation while working out.
I watched my mobility return but at first wasn’t losing weight as fast as I wanted. At that time, I stopped being my stubborn self and listened to her and followed her nutrition guidelines and so far I’ve lost almost 70 pounds! I’ve still got a long way to go but I’m not quitting! Mostly because Stacy won’t let me and believe me I’ve tried. I can’t thank you enough and I’m so grateful that you took a chance on me and have helped me get my life back!

“Making you become a body builder is not her goal, helping your be the best version of yourself is.”
Stacy has been an integral part in helping me heal back pain from a herniated disc. She has done research on her own to understand my diagnosis and also taken advice of my physical therapist so they work together with my rehabilitation. Making you become a body builder is not her goal, helping you be the best version of yourself is. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer if you’re looking for someone who will design a plan around your specific abilities and goals.
Ready to work on you?
Whether your goal is form (like building a rockin’ physique) or function (like overcoming an old injury), Stacy is ready to work when you are.
Regular virtual, live workouts with Stacy plus meal plans and guidance are a killer combo for staying motivated and on track.
